Acquired Attention Deficit (ADD) is a syndrome usually characterized by a persistent pattern of impulsiveness, a short attention span and often hyperactivity, as in the case of Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Both especially interfere with academic and social performance.
Clients are taught to block out distractions, focus, build self-esteem and confidence, and develop behavioral controls through the use of hypnosis.
While this innovative approach is not a “quick fix” solution, it may well be a faster track to improvement and self-control, and work to increase motivation better than other conventional modalities. It can effectively be used in combination with other therapies.
Hypnosis can help change habits and limiting beliefs that inhibit growth and the development of learning abilities, behaviors, and social skills by reprogramming the "mind computer".
